Weekend Has Come and Gone...Bummer

Well as time gets closer it is almost time for me to get back to work...darn!
I have been fortunate to be off work since May for my pregnancy leave. Bre just turned 3 months so at least I was able to stay home for that. I am blessed that she will be going to grandma's and grandpa's house while we are at work during the day. She knows them already very well and is very comfortable with them!

Anyway, my weekend consisted of making money, warm weather, and having fun! Saturday, we had a HUGE garage sale and made lots of money. Myself and my sister in law were out there hustling! Jaylene sold lots of baby stuff, clothes and toys..I had tons of scrapbook stuff, clothes, books, appliances, furniture, etc. Whatever didn't sell was not going back into the house, but will be going to Salvation Army tomorrow!

Sunday, I surprised Reg and took him to one of our favorite spots to eat breakfast, BC's Cafe. It was scrumptious! But we were so full! I should have chosen a different place to eat, because he wasn't aware that I was also taking him to the Los Angeles County Fair afterwards...It was HOT! Oh, and it was pretty pricey! $15 per person to get in and $10 to park! Geez! Not to mention we had to get a little something to quench our thirsts, good thing we weren't hungry. We saw some crazy items there from various vendors, like Fried Coke, Fried Frog Legs, Fried Snickers, Fried Twinkies, and there were a few others...
Even though we were only there for a few hours, we still had a good time with each other. Pictures will be posted later!

Ciao for now!

3 Months Old Today!

Well Miss Breanna is 3 months today! How exciting! Mommy and daddy have survived as well! Let me tell you....Breanna has been such a blessing to us. Alot of times we are stil in denial that we have a little one around here! Next thing I know she will be crawling with baby teeth coming in, biting on my fingers, while she gives me gut belly laughs!

God is SO good...all the time. Some of you know me and Reg have been married for almost 6 years and miscarried the first go around. We have finally been blessed this go. We realized that HE does things in his timeframe, not ours! We are so blessed....

I love my baby girl so much....

Lets see her accomplishments thus far: She is yelling at me that baby talk, smiling uncontrollably, spitting, blowing some major spit bubbles, recognizes and smiles at us, and grandma and grandpa, loves to watch Baby Einstein, well any cartoon for that matter! Um..what else...she is kinda greedy, but thats okay, I love all her rolls!

Scrap Pink!!!

This weekend many scrapbook stores held events to help support the Susan G. Comen for the cure fundraising campaign. Yesterday our LSS Among Friends (who unfortunatley will be soon closing their doors) held a 12 hour crop. Myself, Alondra and Jennifer were there among some other scrappers. We got a lot of work done. There were goodie bags for all, we all got cute pink breast cancer pins, there was a great cake made resembling the logo for breast cancer, we had some awesome food and everyone sitting at my table won great raffle prizes! Very fun!

It felt good to do this crop knowing that I was supporting a great cause! I have breast cancer survivors in my family...may they continue to stay blessed!

If you are interested in learning more about the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and how you can help, please see the information below:

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement.
Today, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, we have invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill our promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world. Poo on me!

Yup, Poo on me for not keeping my blog updated! I feel bad everytime one of my blogger friends may come to my page to see the same ole' post over and over again! Well hey, I been busy these days so give me a break!

I kist recently completed the SoCal Shop Hop where you had to go to 29 stores, whew....what a journey! But I had so much fun! Oh, did I mention how broke I was because of it!? Now I need to scrap to put everything I bought to use!

also my baby Bre has definately been keeping me on my toes! The girl is getting big and just doing alot of stuff! She is no longer wanting to be a baby and sit back! She just feels the need toi sit up! She is spitting and blowing some serious spit bubbles, she is blabbering at the tv and sucking the mess out of her wrists! She is too much...definately keeping me on my toes!

My dad andCathy has been down visiting from Arkansas, they have been down for about a month now and will be leaving on Monday. Yup, I am sad...won't see him again until next year, shooting for Thanksgiving. It may be my first attempt to fly with an infant...we will see how that goes.

Other than that, just trying to enjoy the time left from being off work.
I will try and keep up better on the blog!
My bad!
Ciao!
