I am really paying for the walk I did yesterday physically BUT it was for a GREAT cause so that makes me feel better! Last year I was unable to particiapte for obvious reasons..I was about 7 1/2 months pregnant, so that was out! feels like I haven't done this walk forever! I swear I forgot about that BIG hill! Good thing I had my soror that helped me out! LOL!
I wasn't really sure how Breanna would do on the walk since she would be in her seat the entire time, the longest so far, but she did great!!! She is such a big girl! She was awake and then about 20 minutes into the walk...she was done!

After.... (missing my picture!) =( Will insert later....

Here is me and my long time friend and coworker Laurie! We met up a few times during the walk. She was also walking with her good friends Jodi & Ruby, which I hadn't seen them in YEARS! I told Laurie that I would like to finish the walk no later than 11am....and guess what...we finished it about 30 minutes before 11am! We were on a roll! Don't get me was for a wonderful cause BUT! The weather! It was just HOT out of nowhere! LOL! So that was the rough part...We started the walk about 8:30, 8:45 and we did the 6 miles in little over 2 hours, it was great!

So...what else....did I mention already that I was sore? feels like someone has spready my legs as far as they could possibly go in opposite directions! And to top it off after my adrenaline settled down..I was walking like I was about to re-deliver Breanna! I am feeling alot better today thank God! =)

My Lovely Sorors from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, INC! We showed up in numbers! Members of Epsilon Sigma, undergraduate chapter, Pi Zeta Zeta chapter, Pearlettes and Amicettes were all there representing!

After we were done, I really couldn't wait to get home, shower and wash my face and get all the dried up salt (from my sweat) off my face! Of course when I get home, Breanna already had her nap so she is ready to play! LOL! I thought maybe if I lay her down with me and watch TV or something she would be cool and mellow...NOPE! She was climbing on me, crawling over me, stepping on me...trying to dive off my bed! But the girl was tired thats the funny thing. SO...obviously that wasn't working! So what I did was nicely picked her up, grabbed her paci (pacifier), and her fav blanket...put her in her bed...I peeked in their twice and she was standing up, looking at herself in the mirror of her closet doors. The 3rd time I walked in there, she was kinda kneeling I let went back and did the dishes. 4th time I walked in there this is what I saw...

I was laughing SO hard, I had to quietly run out the room! Bre has a habit of sitting up in her bed and falling I guess she kinda just fell forward and her head fit nicely inthe corner! I came back in after I regained my composure and gently pulled her legs from underneath her....hilarious! Love it...She had a LONG morning and was exhausted as well as mama! Bre's first of MANY community services!

Until next year!

Recent Layouts...

There they are....double trouble...oh out!
"She looks like her daddy!" I hear this maybe 20 times in a week....but thats okay, my comeback can't see her brains, but my girl is pretty intelligent! Don't let her age fool ya! You can't see the resemblance? Seriously...go get your glasses, stop being ridiculous! LOL!

Will the guilty party please step forward? Who in the world had my camera!? The pointer has been pointed to Mr. Jaxon, Breanna's soon to be 3 year old cousin. Man, I have a feeling these 2 will be in trouble together when Bre gets a little older!

This is the layout I did to show off Breanna's "SuperBaby" cape! I wear she knew she had on a cape and that it held some sort of super powers or something. Anyway, Reg brought this back from Six Flags Magic Mountain when he took Uncle N8 there for his birthday. Used the Love, Elsie papers...I like. =)

Check it out! K2R Krew Kit's are Here!

Well here it is! Your 1st look at the very first KrewKit! Me and the Krew have been working away at our projects! I had fun with this because it was something different for me...

Yes, if you can;t tell already, I think I am becoming an acrylic junkie, but I think I will place the blame on Jessica with K2R because she showed me the ropes with this stuff! So if you are reading could you do this to me?? Anyway...

The papers that are used in this kit come from a brand new line that was introduced at CHA called Paper Trunk! First time I saw them, I knew it would be a like any other insane scrapper, I just grabbed every paper they had in the collection, not really knowing what I was going to do with it, BUT I did know it was pretty cute! So why not I figured! Next thing I know....our first KrewKit project included Paper Trunk! Yahooo!!!!

In the kit also included that cool funky little wheel and how cute it turned out!

In my project I used Making Memories acylic paint, (the orange, green, red), my white poster paint Sharpie Pen, of course some exctra buttons and I used felt shaped butterfly (can you see the antennae) girlfriend made it for me.. =)

Are you wondering what comes in the KrewKit? Well here ya go:

  • Double sided printed paper from Paper Trunk

  • The COOl spinning chipboard wheel from Paper Trunk

  • 8x8 Acrylic Album from Clear Scraps

  • 5 yards of decorative ribbon

  • Chipboard Flowers

  • and of course some other embellies!
For more inspiration on this kit, the K2R Design Team will be showing their take on the project! We all came up with some great projects! Take a look for yourself!

The KrewKits are limited, make sure you order yours today!

If you have any questions please feel free to ask away.

Layouts from the "No Shopping Challenge"

Here are a few of my most recent layouts that I have done on the "No Shopping Challenge" that my Yahoo group is doing! We are all challenging ourselves to the max and we are all doing a great job! Basically if you are not too sure what a No Shopping Challenge is...well the name speaks for itself! Basically the idea is to try and use from your stash at home instead of buying...
The theory is good, but what happens after the challenge is over? Thats what I am worried about, because I already have some what of a mental list as to items I need to get! Anyhow...I hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend!

Customer Appreciation!

Where is the scustomer service these days? I mean don't get mad at me cause you chose McDonalds to be your place of employment! It's not my fault you had a bad day, and you got mad cause I wanted paper and plastic to bag my gorceries! Don't be rollin your eyes at me! I saw you...I'm just saying...don't be mad at me!

Customer service has reached its ALL TIME LOW. Sucks, because customer service is a high priority for me! Customer service is what keeps people coming back for more business! Hello!?

So today...I am doing my giving my own customer appreciation....
Thanks to all of my faithful blog readers! I have to admit, I have really surprised myself as to how much I been bloggin lately! Is it just me or do you like seeing that there is an extra comment for your post? Is is just me that you may frown if you don't get any comments? Is it just me!? =)

So we go...I had an acrylic posting last week and IF you read it all the way you would have noticed that if you gave a little lovin in the comment section you would receive a some acrylic pieces! Well, I only had 5 comments...but I really want to say thanks to ALL 5 who did comment! I did do a random draw first and that winner was Laurie Herrera!! Thanks Laurie for not only being the first to comment but also you were randomly selected for the pieces, XOXO! And since I only had 5, I would like to extend my appreciation and send everyone who left some lovin a RAK! Yup, you read right...heck! I'm sending everyone something!

If the fabulous 5 can drop me an email with your addy to :, that would be great so IO can get your goodies in the mail!

Again..I just want to say thank you! Thanks to not only the fab 5 butTHANKS to everyone who actually does stop by and read my post, it is truly appreciated!
