KrewKit #7

It is LOOOONG overdue that I have posted some scrappy stuff! Life is just really crazy right now! I have some other pics to share of what I been up to..but for now, I would like to share with you my final project with Kits2Remember.

This was my first design team that I designed for and it was truly an experience... =)
I love Miss Jessica G, she is such a sweetie and a true person! The first day I met her, I said to myself, I like her! ***If you are reading Jessica....THANKS a bunch for the experience and keep up the good work and continue being real!***

KrewKit #7 had bundles and bundles of material to work with! After completing these projects I still have leftovers! That is the best thing about K2R Kits! There always seems to be plenty of leftovers! After I created the acrylic album, I made 3 cards to share with you.

This line of paper is from Polar Bear Express, I thought it was really cute! I liked the paper as well as it had a nice heavy cardstock feel to it. The papers had both solids and printed paper and double sided.

As usual, my daughter seems to be the main focus of my projects, so here I found a few pics of her doing one of her favorite things...sleeping! It was cool to see her move from her bassinet, to her Pack & Play (because she almost became longer than the length of the Bassinet), then off to her crib. My baby girl is a WILD sleeper! One panel you will see her with her feet hanging through the slats of her crib! Classic!

This book was fun to make as it is loaded with Bling, Buttons, doodling and more Buttons!

Front View of the Album...my sleeping princess!

Over and Side View....lovin all those freakin buttons!

Bassinet days....she would always somehow kick her feet out of her swaddle....

Awww....her daddy insisted on making her this darn pillow! Claimed that she had to be comfortable too...LOL!

There's that pillow again!

Below here, she was fighting her sleep, after our March of Dimes walk...she was sitting up and then finally slumped over! YES....I ran to get my camera before I straightened her out...was that bad of me??? Oh well...what she doesn't know won't hurt! LOL!

Knocked out....

It is hilarious wild she is...I really get a crack up over it. We will lay her in one way, and then in a few hours, she is laying the complete opposite...

Yes...with feet hanging out her bed...

Some cards I produced out of the KrewKit #7..

KrewKit #6 Coming your way!

Look familiar??? Well similar paper was used aaaalll the way back in KrewKit #1!

Well here is a view of contents from our KrewKit #6! Paper used in this kit are from Paper Trunk. I love this paper line, so cute and love the texture! Has a nice quality feel to it.

What is Bre doing you are asking? Well she was (at the time), eating one of her "good baby food dinners" I know it looks like crap, but hey she liked it! If you are wondering what she is asking, it is some sort of pasta and meatballs...LOL and boy was she being SO silly! She won't even touch "baby food" anymore...she has to eat our food...and lots of it!

Keep posted on K2R's Design Team blog so you can see the different ideas and variations that all of the ladies come up with! If you are interested in purchasing this kit, be sure to get yours soon so you won't miss out!

You get 5 acrylic panels, Paper Trunk Paper, cute ribbons, embellies and lots of other cool stuff including some Teresa Collins! I added a little of blingage of course and my good ole' handy White Pen!

Enjoy!

KrewKit #5

It's been waaaaay too long!

Before I get back on track let me first start by posting my latest acrylic project with Kits2Remember...With this kit, we worked with My Minds Eye and some cute embellies! I added some stuff from my stash of course!
My favorite colors lately to work with have been alot of greens, yellows and oranges and I thought this kit was really nice and summery getting me in the summer mood all over agin!

If you are interested in KrewKit #5, please be sure to visit the K@R store and visit the blog as well as we post ideas all month long. You will want to keep your eyes peeled for the next kit as well! (KK#5 also included the PaperTrunk Chipboard wheel...fun!)

Believe it or not this was actually my first time working with Stickles and it was pretty cool! The only thing about Stickles is that it can take a little time to dry. So one day, I ran into someone that gave me a suggestion and I tried it! What she recommended me to do was apply my Stickles and simply lay whatever needs drying, under a ceiling fan! So I tried it and it dried pretty fast considering I was already working under ceiling fans! But under an air flow, it should make it dry a little faster! Try it! You may be amazed! Don't forget you can always get your Stickle / Glitter Glue needs in K2R store in various colors!

Below are the pics of the mini book that I did...enjoy!Album cover of acrylic album - used Stickles around the edges...

Similar picture...cover of to the back...so you can see front page better. (The big cute flower was included in the kit, but please keep in mind that there are various embellies in each kit.)

There is that cool wheel! (Various pics of me and Breanna)Details of the arrow on the Chipboard wheel... (items used on the wheel: Making Memories flowers, some Bling of course, green buttons, my good handy white pen of course!)

The arrow is also chipboard from Fancy Pants, and colored it with some chalk.

Hope you enjoyed!
Okay..I promise to come back with another post tomorrow as I have been much busy-o!
Ciao buddy friends!
XOXO!

KrewKit #3 with K2R!

Here are a few photos of the latest KrewKit with Kits2Remember. I had a real pleasure working with this kit because I know my husband will thoroughly enjoy it for his first "official" Fathers Day. This time last year, Breanna was not quite here.
This KrewKit #3 features a paper line called "Time Flies." I enjoyed this paper because it works out incredibly well as Fathers Day is right around the corner!

Here are a few ideas that can be used for this paper in the kit:

  • Father's Day
  • Travel
  • Graduation
  • Birthday
  • Tribute Albums
  • Any and other specialty albums

This kit has masuline all over it, but can easily also be turned into a non-gender project as well. You easily splash other colors in with this project as I did that with a few cards I made.
I decided to do a little mini Fathers Day album basically to remind my husband that for his first Fathers Day I am honoring him for being a great father to his first baby girl. Alot of times he may feel he isn't doing the right thing, or afraid to handle her still sometimes, but he has really made a BIG effort in getting over those fears. Alot of times we need to be reminded of how much we appreciate others, whether it be a spouse, friend, relative, boss, etc.

Items I used that were NOT included in the kit:

  • Kasier Wooden Embellies
  • Fancy Pants chipboard pieces (which I chalked)

Here are some other projects that I was able to make with the KrewKit!

This was basically a little love note made with the transparencies and acrylic pieces. I am waiting for the perfect time that my hubby needs a "pick-me-up!" I can easily leave this somewhere where he will not miss it, like maybe in the seat of the car, or on top of his lunch box, or near his keys...basically to let him know, that I love him and I am here for ya!

Some cards I made:

The base for the cards (the green and red) came from Creative Imaginations.
The last project shown above, is a small little chipboard book, I put together for a friends birthday.

If you are interested in purchasing your KrewKit #3 today, you can find it here!

Check it out! K2R Krew Kit's are Here!

Well here it is! Your 1st look at the very first KrewKit! Me and the Krew have been working away at our projects! I had fun with this because it was something different for me...

Yes, if you can;t tell already, I think I am becoming an acrylic junkie, but I think I will place the blame on Jessica with K2R because she showed me the ropes with this stuff! So if you are reading Jessica...how could you do this to me?? Anyway...

The papers that are used in this kit come from a brand new line that was introduced at CHA called Paper Trunk! First time I saw them, I knew it would be a favorite...so like any other insane scrapper, I just grabbed every paper they had in the collection, not really knowing what I was going to do with it, BUT I did know it was pretty cute! So why not I figured! Next thing I know....our first KrewKit project included Paper Trunk! Yahooo!!!!

In the kit also included that cool funky little wheel and how cute it turned out!

In my project I used Making Memories acylic paint, (the orange, green, red), my white poster paint Sharpie Pen, of course some exctra buttons and I used felt shaped butterfly (can you see the antennae)...my girlfriend made it for me.. =)

Are you wondering what comes in the KrewKit? Well here ya go:

  • Double sided printed paper from Paper Trunk

  • The COOl spinning chipboard wheel from Paper Trunk

  • 8x8 Acrylic Album from Clear Scraps

  • 5 yards of decorative ribbon

  • Chipboard Flowers

  • and of course some other embellies!
For more inspiration on this kit, the K2R Design Team will be showing their take on the project! We all came up with some great projects! Take a look for yourself!

The KrewKits are limited, make sure you order yours today!

If you have any questions please feel free to ask away.
