This was a picture of my street yesterday!
Me and Reggie came home to this Sunday evening after a beautiful weekend in San Diego. On our way home from San Diego, we drove through the horrible fires in San Diego / Poway area..it was horrible! So when I got home, was clueless of the fire in Lake Arrowhead...too close for comfort. As you can see the smoke in the background of the pics and how strong the winds were to blow down these elm trees.
4 years ago we had to deal with the Waterman Canyon fires when we had to evacuate...
Well it is Tuesday morning and thank God that winds have calmed down slightly in my area, but still really windy in others. I just pray that winds do not kick up bad enough where the fire changes direction and crawls over the mountain in back of my house. It's funny because you really don't know what to grab when you are forced to evacuate in 15 minuyes. You really can't say what youwould do until you are in that situation, believe me when I say...its kinda weird how that happens.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all families who may be affected by this fire and who may have lost their homes and or businesses or have been threatened. May God bless you all...and whoever is setting these fires, may they rot in you know where!
