If you want to keep spam out of your comments, you can enable "word verification" where you do your set-up for blogger.
Those spammers are hitting everybody. Before you know it they fill up your comments section. Somehow using word verification makes them skip you because they don't want to take the time to type all the letters in. Hope this helps. Cate
