Scrap Pink!!!

This weekend many scrapbook stores held events to help support the Susan G. Comen for the cure fundraising campaign. Yesterday our LSS Among Friends (who unfortunatley will be soon closing their doors) held a 12 hour crop. Myself, Alondra and Jennifer were there among some other scrappers. We got a lot of work done. There were goodie bags for all, we all got cute pink breast cancer pins, there was a great cake made resembling the logo for breast cancer, we had some awesome food and everyone sitting at my table won great raffle prizes! Very fun!

It felt good to do this crop knowing that I was supporting a great cause! I have breast cancer survivors in my family...may they continue to stay blessed!

If you are interested in learning more about the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and how you can help, please see the information below:

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement.
Today, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, we have invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill our promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
